Pool restoration
During the first part of 2023 Cercol provided a wide mix of products for the renovation of a prestigious swimming pool inside the "La Cavallerizza" Estate, an exclusive location for events in Gravina in Puglia (BA). Following the demolition of the existing coating inside the tank, the surface of the concrete structure was regularized with F.76 TIXO (fiber-reinforced structural mortar for the restoration of concrete) and then waterproofed with F.72 ELASTOMALTA MONO (one-component cement waterproofing with high flexibility). The new ceramic tile coating was then installed using F.55 CERFIX (deformable cement adhesive with mixed binder, increased open time and zero vertical slip). The subsequent grouting of joints with a width of 2 mm was carried out by applying F.15 SETASTUC (a water-repellent cement grout resistant to mould formation for grouting joints up to 6 mm wide)product characterized by excellent workability, smoothness and ease of cleaning. The anti-mould properties of this putty and the particularly smooth surface finish make it particularly suitable for use in humid environments and in swimming pools. |
